Make Sure Your Vehicle is equipped with Factory Apple CarPlay Function(usually the latest car models). The easiest way to test is to plug an iPhone into your vehicle’s USB ports to see if the CarPlay can be activated.
This product does not support aftermarket head units such as Pioneer, Kenwood, Sony, Clarion etc… However, It works with the Alpine Halos series and the iLX series as we tested with those aftermarket units

Usually, a USB Type- C can be found on the latest German car models (Such as Mercedes and Audi). A USB Type-A can be found on older German car models and new car models on other brands (such as Toyota, Honda, and Jeep)
